Citizen Volunteer Program

About

The Marshalltown Police Citizen Volunteer (MPCV) program began in 2010 and has consistently maintained an average of 40 members who work various non-enforcement assignments within the department. 

MPCV’s work in the Operations Division, Special Services Division and Administrative Services Division. In 2016, volunteers graciously gave over 666 hours of their time, knowledge, talent, and services to the department in the excess value of $15,600. The MPCV program creates valuable ties between the citizens of Marshalltown and their police department.

Eligibility

To be eligible for the volunteer program you must be a graduate of the Citizen’s Police Academy
