The City/School Election will be held on November 4, 2025. Polls will be open 7 am - 8 pm. The City of Marshalltown has seats open for Mayor, 1st Ward Councilor, 3rd Ward Councilor, and two At-Large Councilors. Interested candidates must complete an affidavit of candidacy and obtain a minimum of 75 signatures on a nomination petition. Candidate filing begins on August 25th through September 18th at 5 pm. Paperwork can be filed at the Marshall County Auditor/Election Office at the Courthouse, 1 East Main Street, Marshalltown.
