There will be a public hearing for the Fiscal Year 2024 budget, which is the period beginning July 1, 2023 and ending June 30, 2024. The public hearing will be held on April 10th at 5:30 PM in the City Council Chambers, 2nd floor, at 10 West State Street. See the proposed budget report for more detail. Page 1 shows the total revenues, excluding transfers in, to be budgeted at $70.1 million and total expenditures, excluding transfers out, to be budgeted at $84.5 million. The total tax levy rate per $1,000 of valuation would be $16.00 on regular property and $3.00375 on agricultural land. Page 2 shows the individual tax levies.
