Information On Recently Received Mailing - Service Line Warranties of America (SLWA)
Due to the overwhelming number of calls lately concerning the exterior sewer/septic line warranty program that covers sewer lines, the City of Marshalltown wants to ensure residents that this is not a scam. The City has worked with this company for nearly a decade to get homeowners and their sewer lines covered. Ever since the plan has been offered in Marshalltown, residents that have signed up for and used the program have a combined savings of over 1 million dollars to date. Residents should also know that the City does not profit in any way from this program, we only recognize it as a legitimate business that offers a warranty program. We have worked with and been in contact with this company regularly and after our most recent contact, decided that it was time to make the citizens aware of the program again and the best way is to send out mailings to give people another opportunity to enroll if they were not aware of it before.
