On Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at 1:01pm, the Marshalltown Police Department responded to a private residence in the 1000 block of East Olive Street to investigate a burglary. Upon arrival, officers received information from the victim about a burglary and theft crime that was believed to have occurred earlier in the day on August 14.
Following an extensive investigation of multiple burglary incidents, an arrest was made on Wednesday, November 6, 2024. The Marshalltown Police Department has arrested Hunter David Clark, age 23, of Marshalltown. Mr. Clark has been charged with:
- Burglary – 3rd Degree (4 Counts)
- Theft – 1st Degree
- Theft – 2nd Degree
- Theft – 5th Degree
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Following his arrest, Mr. Clark was taken to the Marshall County jail and remains in custody.
