On September 25, 2024, at 12:24am, the Marshalltown Police Department arrested Jose Hiran Macias Flores, age 43, of Marshalltown. Mr. Macias Flores has been charged with:
- Assault with Intent to Commit Sexual Abuse
- Sexual Abuse of a Child in the Second Degree
This arrest was made in connection with an investigation that began on April 12, 2024. Mr. Macias Flores was booked into the Marshall County Jail and remains in custody. This investigation is active but no other arrests are expected at this time.
