City and local leaders will be joined by Joel Frushone, Director of the Office of External Affairs and Communications in the US Economic Development Administration, on Wednesday, September 16th, at 9am, to officially break ground on the Edgewood Extension project. The groundbreaking will be held in an area next to Alliant Energy’s substation on Marion Street, north of JBS. Attendees are encouraged to park on North 7th Avenue or other adjacent side streets and walk to the site.
