The Marshalltown Public Works department has declared a snow emergency for Marshalltown. The snow ordinance will go into effect on Monday, February 5, at 11:00 am. The snow ordinance will remain in effect until the snow routes are clear of snow and ice. Please park off street if you can. If you live or park on a snow route, you must park off street. Failure to do so could result in your vehicle being ticketed and towed. Per normal practice, we will do our best to be tolerant of parking needs in and around schools and business areas today. We are anticipating 4-6 inches of snow so the weather will dictate what we can do or not do.
