Please pay your parking tickets and library fines by December 1, 2019, to avoid the $15 collection fee. Parking Tickets may be paid online or at City Hall, 24 N Center Street.
The city will again be utilizing the State of Iowa’s Offset program for collection, with an 8-12 week lag in the state’s tax refund process.
There are 6,700 unpaid parking tickets, totaling over $140,000.
Parking tickets may be paid online, with convenience fees for processing the transaction. To pay parking tickets, you may enter either the citation number, plate number of the vehicle or the SSN and Date of Birth of the vehicle’s registered owner.

We are still accumulating data for the Library collection file. Last year at this time there were 900 individuals owing more than $50.00, with over $110,000 due by those 900 individuals.
Please return your outstanding library books and pay your fines at the Marshalltown Public Library before December 1 to avoid collections effort. Doing so will allow staff to focus on other things, as well as allow the Iowa Income Tax process to proceed without interruption.
