POLICE MAKE ARREST IN SEPTEMBER 2018 EXPRESS MART BURGLARY
On September 16, 2018, at 12:58 am, officers responded to the Express Mart (229 N 13th St) on the report of an alarm. When officers arrived, they discovered a recent burglary.
Upon review of surveillance footage and several interviews, on November 15, 2018, a juvenile male was charged with Burglary 3rd Degree and transported to Central Iowa Juvenile Detention Center.
Unrelated to the Express Mart burglary, the juvenile male was also charged with Theft 2nd Degree related to a motor vehicle theft on September 28, 2018. A second juvenile male was also charged with Theft 2nd degree and is currently being held at the Central Iowa Juvenile Detention Center.
The investigation into this case continues.
