City of Marshalltown Invites Community to Open House on Future Sporting Programs and Facilities
MARSHALLTOWN, IOWA – The City of Marshalltown invites residents to attend a Community Open House on Tuesday, October 28, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Veteran’s Memorial Coliseum, 20 W. State Street, Marshalltown.
This event offers an opportunity for community members to share their ideas and feedback on what they would like to see in future sporting programs and athletic facilities in Marshalltown.
Representatives from The Sports Facilities Companies, a national athletic consulting firm, will be in attendance to visit with participants and gather input. Parks and Recreation Director, Kelsie Stafford, and other City of Marshalltown staff will also be present to engage with the public and answer questions. “We’re excited to hear directly from our residents about how we can continue to enhance recreation opportunities in our community,” said Stafford. “Your input will help shape the future of sports and recreation facilities in Marshalltown.” Stafford also shared that The Sports Facilities Companies CEO is Jason Clement, who is a Marshalltown native. “We are so excited to have Mr. Clement’s involvement in this project as a Marshalltown native and experienced professional in the sports industry.”
