Happy National Co-Responder Week Marshalltown Police and Community Team (MPACT)!
The MPACT program is nearly four years old now. MPACT team members are making a difference. Our community is stronger as a result of this innovative partnership. Thank you MPD and MPACT for making this happen! We thank the Marshalltown city council and the Marshalltown community for supporting this important effort!
This week, we honor the incredible work of our co-responders who partner with us every day to provide compassionate support during some of the most challenging moments. Our co-responders play a crucial role in mental health crises, substance abuse cases, and many other calls, ensuring that those in need receive care and resources. MPACT is the bridge to hope and safety for so many.
At the Marshalltown Police Department, we are proud of the collaboration between our officers and our dedicated co-responders from YSS of Marshall County. Together, we are building a stronger, safer, and more compassionate community.
