On Monday, June 24, 2024, at 12:06am, law enforcement personnel from the Marshalltown Police Department and Marshall County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 200 block of North 4th Avenue in Marshalltown after receiving information about gunshots being fired in this neighborhood. Upon arrival, officers discovered the home at 206 N. 4th Avenue had been hit with gunfire. Nobody was injured. An extensive search of the area was conducted. No suspects were located.
