On Friday, April 19, 2024, the Marshalltown Police Department arrested Patrick Earl Charles, Jr. age 39, of Marshalltown. Mr. Charles, Jr. has been charged with:
- Child Endangerment
- Failure to Affix a Drug Tax Stamp
- Intent to Deliver Cocaine
- Intent to Deliver Marijuana
- Unlawful Possession of a Firearm
Mr. Charles was transported to the Marshall County Jail and remains held pending an initial court appearance. This arrest was made in connection with an incident involving a juvenile who had been found in possession of illegal narcotics. This investigation remains active.
