The Marshalltown Police Department is excited to announce Coffee with a Cop will be hosted at the Elk’s Lodge of Marshalltown, located at 101 West Church Street, on September 9, 2022 from 8-10am. All community members are invited to attend. “Any chance to get out and just talk to people without the stress normal police interaction is a great opportunity,” said Sergeant A.J. Accola. “I’m personally exited for the opportunity to hear all the predictions on the upcoming Iowa vs. Iowa State game the following afternoon."
Coffee with a Cop aims to advance the practice of community policing through improving relationships between police officers and community members one cup of coffee at a time.
