CRIME STOPPERS ALERT
The police department is investigating a serious motor vehicle crash that occurred this morning at the intersection of Main Street and 5th Street at 9:29am. One of the drivers left the scene on foot. We would like to locate this person.
A blue 2005 Chrysler 300 was traveling north on 5th Street at a high rate of speed. The Chrysler struck a red 2001 Chevrolet Silverado truck at the intersection of Main and 5th Street. The driver of the Chrysler fled the scene on foot and has not been located. We are seeking information concerning the whereabouts of Jose Eduardo Victor, age 31, of Marshalltown. We are concerned Mr. Victor could be injured. If you know where Mr. Victor is, please contact the police department at 641.754.5725.

This investigation is ongoing. Criminal charges are pending. The Iowa State Patrol has been asked to assist with the crash investigation. No serious injuries have been reported but the vehicles involved were both totaled in the crash.
