The Marshalltown Police Department is investigating a robbery that occurred on Monday, June 7, at approximately 5:00am. The Marshalltown Police Department responded to the Git-N-Go convenience store, located at 3302 South Center Street, after an employee called the police to report a robbery. The initial call to law enforcement came in at 5:04am. Upon arrival, officers determined a male suspect had entered the store and demanded money. The store employee was not injured.
The Marshalltown Police Department has obtained an arrest warrant for Dillyn Michael Howard, age 21, of Marshalltown. Mr. Howard is charged with:
- Robbery – 2nd Degree (Class C Felony)
- Assault While Displaying a Dangerous Weapon (Aggravated Misdemeanor)
- Theft – 3rd Degree (Aggravated Misdemeanor)

Law enforcement is searching for Mr. Howard. If you have information concerning his whereabouts, please contact your local law enforcement agency.
