UPDATE - 11/12: Due to high ground water and challenging construction conditions, the extents of the area needed, length of time needed, as well as caution & skill is anticipated to increase. The intersection of 4th St and Hughes Street will now be fully closed. Hughes St and 4th St traffic will be dead-ended and need to utilize Parks St, 5th St, and Innes Blvd to access these areas and detour. We anticipate this area to be closed into December. Originally Issued Information 11/10: Utility repair work under 4th Street, just north of Hughes St, is scheduled to start Tuesday, November 11th, 2025. Traffic control fully closing 4th Street, just north of Hughes St, is now in place to allow for this utility and street repair. We are striving to keep a minimum of one lane of traffic able to turn/utilize the intersection with Hughes. All traffic shall utilize local roads to detour, as needed. This work is anticipated to take 3-4 weeks.
