Marshalltown Police Department Promotion Announcement - Chad Hillers Promoted to Police Sergeant

Chad Hillers Promotion

The Marshalltown Police Department is excited to announce the promotion of Chad Hillers, to the rank of Sergeant.  Sergeant Hillers has served the Marshalltown community for the past 15 years.  His knowledge and experience are a priceless asset to our agency.  He will be joining our night shift patrol team, beginning his Sergeant duties on January 4, 2021.

Sergeant Hillers has over 12 years of experience on the department’s SWAT team.   He has gained leadership experience as a team leader in that unit.  He also served six distinguished years as a Detective with the Mid Iowa Drug Task Force.   During that time, he worked closely with many local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies and became known for his expertise in the field. 

Sergeant Hillers has been instrumental in developing officer training at the Marshalltown Police Department.  He has severed as a Field Training Officer and Firearms Instructor for the department.   His dedication to training has improved the quality of our entire department.  Please join us in congratulating Sergeant Hillers.
