In 2019 we completed the Marshalltown Downtown Master Plan and we greatly appreciate the public participation we had in that project. This month we kicked off the Downtown Marshalltown Implementation Plan which is building on the work completed in 2019.
This phase will focus on four key areas:
- Evaluation of Angled Parking in the Downtown
- One-way/Two-way Street Conversion of Church St and Linn St
- Pavement Assessment
- Streetscape Design
As part of the process we are requesting the input of residents, employees, business owners and visitors. We have two opportunities for you to provide input.
Community Survey
Answer specific questions about the Downtown and your preferences for things such as landscaping, aesthetics and parking alternatives.
INPUTiD Interactive Map
Provide input through this interactive map. Indicate places that are a concern or that you frequent in the Downtown. Submit your comments for others to see. Check back throughout the project to see what is added.
