Stop light removal

The City of Marshalltown Engineering Department has evaluated the need for a stoplight on the corner of East Church Street and 1st Avenue South with the recent relocation of the Fire Department. A review of traffic flows, vehicle numbers and accidents was completed and found that the light was not necessary and should be removed to improve traffic flows along Church Street.
