Tumbling / Trampoline / Gymnastics

These clinics are a wonderful way to introduce your child to the sport of acrobatics, gymnastics, tumbling, and trampoline. Participants can learn basic tumbling and trampoline skills, build strength, exercise, and socialize. 

Participants may utilize the following: 

  • Balance beam
  • Double mini trampoline
  • Elevated rod floors
  • In-ground foam pit
  • In-ground trampoline
  • Rings
  • Tumbl Trak trampoline
  • Uneven bars
  • Numerous other skill building shapes and wedges

Marshalltown Area Tumbling (MAT)

MAT provides experienced instructors who are safety certified. These clinics are in conjunction with Marshalltown Area Tumbling/Trampoline & Acrobatics whose, facility is located at Marshalltown Area Tumbling and Trampoline Club, 1700 South Center Street (at the North end of the Meadow Lane Mall). No special equipment or clothes are necessary, just come with a smile and ready for some fun! View the MAT Tumblers Website.

Clinic Options

Clinic 1

  • July 9 and 10, Monday and Tuesday
  • 3003.12: Ages 3 to 5 - 9:30 to 10:30 am - Maximum class size is 12
  • 3002.11: Ages 6 and older - 10:45 to 11:45 am - Maximum class size is 15
  • Enroll online by Friday, July 6 at Noon

Clinic 2

  • July 16 and 17, Monday and Tuesday
  • 3001.11: Ages 3 to 5 - 5:30. to 6:30 pm Maximum class size is 15
  • 3004.12: Ages 6 and older - 7 to 8 pm Maximum class size is 15
  • Enroll online by Friday, July 13 at Noon

More Information

  • Clinics are held at Marshalltown Area Tumbling and Trampoline Club, 1700 South Center Street (at the North end of the Meadow Lane Mall)
  • Cost: $27 per clinic
  • No Enrollment is accepted at MAT Tumbling for these events
  • Enrollment are only accepted through Parks and Recreation office
